The number one reason for being back in KC was to stay with Nate and Lily while their parents went on a 10-day cruise. It was a long time for them to be without their parents. One day we went to Deanna Rose. The following are important activities that the kids did.
We had to pet some critters...cows to be exact. They loved this cute little calf.
There was some serious tractor riding...
Some time in the saddle....minus the horse this time...
And feeding goats was an absolute must. Lily was fine as long as the goat was polite...
she wasn't so fine when the goats ganged up on her...three goats all after the same bottle being held by one little girl...
Nate had it all uncontrol....no problems here!
At least they all ended up friends in the end...
Nate wasn't so sure about the horse, in fact he had Lily ride first. He must have been thinking..."If I make Lily go first and she comes back in one piece then it must be safe." Aren't older brothers great....
Lily had so much fun...no hestiations...
Pumping water is fun to do...
even if it takes some strong muscles...
We later delivered cupcakes to my parents.....Lily was wiped out,
