You might ask; what is filleting? Well, in simple terms it is when a papa grabs a grandchild, pins them to the ground, holds their legs between his, arms are stretched overhead and held tightly and papa's hand cuts them down the middle of their belly. Sounds very much like torture, but for these kids it is a fun time and a much requested activity. "Fillet me papa" is often heard in our home.
Sometimes I worry papa might get hurt, but so far only his hearing has been damaged by the shrill screams of little kids.
